It might be the boonies to most of you folks, but I just had the best piece
of beef in my life.
We were looking for a place to have our group Christmas lunch, with our
wives and such, and we couldn't decide where to go. None of us had been to
'Let's Eat' in Bluff Dale, so that's where we opted to go.
I live in Granbury, and for my company (our group) lunch, we went to 'Let's
Eat' in Bluff Dale. The Chef (Curren?) asked us how much we were paying for
lunch, ($25) and set up a meal for us. They are closed on Mondays, but he
opened for our group, which was thoughtful. Most chose the beef, but some
had chicken; both were happy. The beef was about two inches thick, and
tender enough to cut with a fork. It was REALLY amazing. I usually ask for
'medium' but this was too good. We got what the chef cooked; and thank you.
His philosophy is good ingredients done well means a great meal; he has
convinced me that it is true.
The other parts of the meal were excellent as well, but the beef was
memorable. The simple menu looked great, and I can't believe that this is
the first time I've been there. The setting is not fancy, by any stretch of
the imagination, and there are only a few tables in the whole place; but it
is NOT to be missed if you are in Granbury or Stephenville on the weekend.
Do a search, or call to see if they're open first, but don't pass this
hole-in-the-wall buy.
This was one of my best meals of 2008.

Absolutely A great place, I also live in Granbury and am glad to have a
very good non chain restaurant somewhere besides Fort Worth. Also like
Line Camp for a good steak and laid-back atmosphere.
