Tried this place today because of a write up in the DMN.
I'd have to say it was pretty good. I had the "The Natural" w/cheese med
rare.
Great burger, what I found interesting were the fries, you can have them
plain or dusted(smoke, ranch,cajun,italian).
They have dippin sauce for them, too, chipolte crème, cilantro crème and
horseradish crème.
I had smoke w/chipolte crème and cilantro crème. It tasted like flavored
mayo but was good.
Used the chipolte on my burger ,too. I don't know how they did the fries,
but they tasted like they came out of a smoker, weird but good.
I'll try 'em again, though. The burger was good and messy, soft kaiser like
bun, not a commercial bun. The patty was bigger than the bun, with fixins
on the side. They only have 3 burgers, but with the "extras" you could make
just about any combo. They've got dogs and salads, too
I'll definitely go back and try some more

From their website

First a note from your sponsor:

"Grazing Cowers, please note that we are not a big restaurant and we are
not a fast food restaurant. There will be times you might have to wait a
bit, so please come prepared with that in mind."

Now the story thus far.

Okay, here is the deal. This is a HAMBURGER JOINT , with a few nibbles for
our vegetarian brethren, but mainly a hamburger joint. And when I say
hamburger, I mean a real hamburger; not some funky antelope, turkey,
tofurkey, multigrain, or bison burgers, but a real grass-fed all natural
BEEF burger. If you are looking for those you are sadly (say the word
silently in your head) out of luck.

Yes, I said grass fed, the way God intended cows to eat. They aren't
pumped with hormones and antibiotics and force fed grains and corn. These
great cows graze in the beautiful plains of North Texas feasting on the
vegetation that emanates from its fertile ground. This beef is better for
you plain and simple, and that also includes our hot dogs that contain zero
nitrates. Don't believe me still, then do your own research and thank me
later.

We hope you enjoy our burgers and the rest of our grub. We do our best to
cook your burgers to your liking, but we cook to temperature and not color
so your version maybe different than ours so deal with it! The legend has
arrived, so get on board, get a seat and start eating!

Tried this place today because of a write up in dfw.eats...

Damn good. I mean top shelf burger good. Cannot recall a better one. Had
the Pow! burger, basically a heart attack on a bun.

Greasy. Flavorful. The serving tray was filled with enough fat drippings
to satisfy a Japanese whaling fleet. I've had Kobe burgers and what not,
this exceeded them.

Fries - clearly home cut and fried. A good fry doesn't need no damn
dipping sauce or flavor dusting, and these qualified - like very thin
variants of In-N-Out fries, with a similar greasy texture and taste.
They are thin so they can cool down maybe too quick, they might want to
make them a bit thicker, but otherwise great. If you aren't going to let
consuming a cup of beef fat in your burger bother you, another third of
a cup consumed in fries is just a complimentary add on to your express
ticket to myocardial infarction.

On to the oddities -

1) No cash. Really? "This note is legal tender for all debts"... but not
here. I get no checks, but no cash? Ummmm... okay.

2) Soda. Cans only. Not sure if they were going to pop me for $2 for a
second can if I wanted more, or if this is simply a matter of not having
fountain service yet, but nickel and diming on cans of soda in a
hamburger joint is a no-no.

3) Location. Go here quick, because I have to figure this place has 6
months tops in it. Can't really see it from the street, hard to get to,
in a strip mall with some kid of "Pay Cash For Gold!" place. Mind you,
the place is good enough to go to, and I'll go see Fred's Downtown
Philly in Plano which is a real shitbox, because the cheesesteak is
worth it, and that follows here. But there are a billion burger joints
with decent burgers, and very few cheesesteak places. I fear this
location is a pre-ordered grave.

4) Hours. Lunch only. Again, really? Rent is 24/7, business is only four
hours? See longevity concern in point #3 above.

In summation - great burgers, go get one before it's gone, but only
between 11 and 3. And bring cash...

Where is it located? No one has mentioned this, and since I'm blind most web
links are a problem for me.

Spring Creek and Ave K in Plano, northeast corner. It is in a square
shaped strip with other shops, on the East side.

Just to update, they made a change that isn't so hot - they stopped
using their house cut fries and went to some oversalted generic fast
food fries. This really takes the bloom off the rose here. Burger is
still great, but I find the fries damn near inedible. Tragic.

So you get your burger from them and your fries from Five
Guys, and dine al fresco!
